Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.

A guy was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines via the internet.

The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.

The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
